Sentimental about Family

 WARNING SAPPY POST! I have decided to talk about family today and how they are one of thee most important things in my life.. plus its Novmeber month of grattitude and they are what I am most grateful for. Elder Tom Perry said: “the family is the center of life and key to eternal happiness” I completely agree with this statement and know that when we make the family the center and focus of our lives that we are much happier, I have witnessed it in my own life often. To me one of the biggest roles of family is support, I believe they are meant to be your permant support group or at times your slap you in the face wake up Braquell what are you doing group, either way I need both. I thought at times I was done like I just wanted to give up right then and there, become homeless and misserable, (dramatic I know) and yet I made it through because my family supported me, they pushed me through it, they helped me, they loved me. Robert D Hales Said: “Being one in a family carries a great responsibility of caring, loving, lifting, and strengthening each member of the family so that all can righteously endure to the end in mortality and dwell together throughout eternity”  My family does this for me on a DAILY basis how exhausting for them;) haha Harold B Lee said: “our testimonies need renewing everyday” I have found for myself that spending time with my family everyday strengthens my testimony, I was taught through example of my family, because when for a minute my testimony seemed weak I had my families testimonies to lean back on just for that second until I could get back on my feet, as I watch their examples my testimony is strengthed, I do have my own testimony 100% but it started at home and it came from my family.  “God gave us families to help us become what he wants us to be” I love this because it is so true, we can not reach our full potential and become who God needs us to be without our families, we need each other I NEED MY FAMILY not only did I need now but ill  NEED THEM FOREVER, lucky for them ay?;) (no im not canadian)  Over the years and awkward phases of life I have come to realized that ultimately my best friends are my family, my siblings are my best friends and greatest examples I hang out with my older sisters more than anyone else they help me so much in so many ways.  My mom is my trusted confidant she knows all my secrets like literally all…. Ha ill confess to my dad once im married and moved out haha. I truly have been blessed and have such a wonderful family, I know I would not be where I am without them and I could never fully express my appreciation or gratitude toward them and all they do for me. I love them and love that the gospel lets me keep them.

     Hello beautiful souls and favorite humans! I hope you are all enjoying this lovely Wednesday aka HUMP DAY!! Hallelujah hip hip hurraayyyy!

     Tell YOU one new thing about ME, sounds like an easy enough thing to write about right? Let me answer that, nope. All of a sudden I start thinking all these things about me like I hate feet, bubble gum is my favorite candy, Frank Sinatra eases my soul and pleases my heart, and thats when the battle begins.  You see I wanna sound cool, collective, basically famous but unfortunately I am none of those things. I am more awkward when it comes to talking about myself, shy when it comes to talking to or in this case writing to strangers, and truly most the time I am grammatically incorrect. You know the girl with toothpaste in her hair that straightens her natural curly hair on a rainy day... catching my drift.. picking up what im setting down?:) Ya thats me.
        So there is a little introduction to actually fulfilling the assignment. Now that you have me pictured and can see a glimpse into my life imagine that kir- bobbled (yes made up word) girl mentioned above getting married (in 73 days. Im totally counting)!! Please dont pass out in panic for me I've already considered that option ha! There is nothing I am more excited for or happy about in my life nothing I have never been more sure of. Because by some miracle and from the help of an amazing Father in Heaven I scored big time money maker jackpot rainbows and unicorns number one champion gold medal MVP with my fiance, there isnt a better human than Jarom and there is no body as perfect for me as him. Still no matter how amazing he is boys and girls are different breads maybe even different species honestly.  On top of that I am still nervous for this adulthood crap, like cmon im a 19 year old kid and your telling me I have to figure out "our" taxes, "our" insurance plan. Well freak! Do I have to confess that we went to nickel city the other day and tried to beat all the little fink children too or that we have nerf gun wars and play trampoline tag?
        When it comes down to the basic wifey duties like the cooking, cleaning, shopping, I have it down for the most part, in fact I love to cook, I also have cleaning OCD (pray for the hubs) so a clean yummy house sounds like a promising possibility. But that certainly doesnt mean I wont be calling my mom every time I go shopping or cry the first couple times my meals dont turn out perfect, or be the most frazzled when his dirty socks are on the floor. But marrying Jarom is truly my dream come true, actually its even better then any of my dreams. And I now get to be the new Braquell, the Mrs. Sessions, the wife to my handsome hubs. That is something new about me, something YOU didnt know about ME. December 17th cant come fast enough.
